Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AI Persona ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application ("App").

By using AI Persona, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems.


4. Advertising

To keep the free tier of AI Persona genuinely free, we display ads to free-tier users. Premium, Basic, and Pro subscribers do not see any ads — the advertising SDK is gated on your subscription status and is not initialized for paid users beyond a no-op path.

4.1 Our Ad Partner

We use Google AdMob as our advertising provider. AdMob is operated by Google LLC and acts as an independent data controller for the data it collects to serve, measure, and personalize ads.

4.2 What AdMob Collects

When you are on the free tier and have given the appropriate consent (see Section 4.3), AdMob may collect:

AdMob does not receive your email, display name, chat messages, persona content, knowledge-base documents, or any other content you create in the App. Your AI Persona account data and your ad-serving data live in separate systems.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Brazil: On first launch we show a consent screen powered by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), as required by GDPR / UK GDPR / LGPD. You can choose to receive personalized or non-personalized ads, and you can change your choice at any time from the App's settings.

iOS users: On first launch we show Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you deny tracking, AdMob will only show non-personalized ads (ads chosen based on coarse signals like time of day and country, not on your individual identifier).

All users: You can reset your advertising identifier or disable ad personalization device-wide via your device settings (on Apple devices: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising; on other devices, see the privacy or ads section of your device settings).

4.4 Reward Ads

Free-tier users who hit their daily message limit may optionally watch a rewarded video ad to unlock additional messages for the day. Watching a rewarded ad is always your choice — declining the offer never penalizes you beyond the standard daily limit.

4.5 Where Ads Appear

Ads on the free tier may appear:

Ads will never appear in the middle of a live chat conversation, on account-creation or sign-in screens, or on the billing / subscription pages.

You can access your usage data through the App's analytics features.

You can delete your account directly in the App (Settings → Delete Account), which will permanently remove all your data from our systems, including your linked sign-in account, uploaded files, personas, and chat history.

7.4 Notifications

You can manage push notification preferences in the App settings.

7.5 Analytics

You can opt out of analytics sharing in the App settings.

7.6 Advertising

You can opt out of personalized ads at any time — see Section 4.3 for the controls. Upgrading to any paid tier disables ads entirely.


8. Children's Privacy

AI Persona is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Ads served through AdMob in the App are configured with a content rating appropriate for general audiences and are not targeted at users known to be under 13.


9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.


10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
